The essays were due today and most students submitted them. Way to go!
Today we examined the controversy that has surrounded the exhibit for World War Two at Canada's War Museum. We discussed the function of a museum and then wondered about whether it was right for a museum to respond to the pressures of criticism of a group whose interpretation of history varies from their own. Interesting discussion.
We started to view "Shooters" - a film depicting Canada's photography unit in World War Two. We ran out of time, however.
